Have Students Reflect On Their Chosen Level After The Lesson Or Activity
Having students reflect on the chosen level (especially identifying internal vs. external motivation—Level C vs. Level D) BEFORE a lesson or activity and then having students reflect again AFTER a lesson or activity increases motivation, improves learning, and raises academic achievement.
